45 Caliber 230 Grain RN Hi-Tek coated bullets

I havent shot anything other than Hoosier Bullets for years and I dont see any need to change. They are simply the best.

Just reloaded my first 25 of these. Mixed cases, CCI 300, 4.4gn of Tite Group and COL 1.200". 5" barrel 1911. Tested them with my crono, test group was 10rds. Min 826fps, Max 848fps, Avg 835fps, ES 22.7, and SD 7.2. Performed significantly better than the copper plated RN from Xtreme and HP's hybrid from Berry's. The copper plated bullets had a significantly lower velocity with the same powder charge, ES and SD were also significantly larger. Will continue to play with these. :-)

Well fellas and or Ladies, these are great bullets. I have never had leading in the barrel and I will go through 150 to 250 are one trip to the range. They shoot fine and the coating is durable. Shot steel targets and the coating was still on. two thumbs up.

I bought a 150 piece sample pack to test on 3 different 45 ACP pistols. The bullets were HiTek coated 45 cal 230gr HBRN. These bullets performed flawlessly in all 3 pistols. Loaded to about 850 fps. Will place a full order soon. No leading, no residue good price.

I've used this particular bullet extensively in several handguns and it performs well. Favorite load is 4.2g of IMR Target with an OAL of 1.230" which will get you major PF in most guns.

I love these! Very uniform size. Less smoke and fouling in my target 1911. I can finally use my Mr. Bullet feeder on MY Dillon press and not have the mess I got with lubricated bullets. WIn-Win-Win! Thanks, Hoosier Bullet!

They loaded very well in the pro chucker 5 press. They shoot great with great accuracy! Will defiantly buy again!
