My Journey with the SIG SAUER ROSE Program: Finding Confidence, Community, and Lifelong Friendships

Back in 2023, while attending the NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits in Indianapolis, Indiana, I made my way to my favorite firearms manufacturer's booth, SIG SAUER. I had no idea that stop would introduce me to a community that would become such an important part of my life.

That's where I first discovered the SIG SAUER ROSE Program.

Created by women for women, the ROSE Program was designed to make entering the firearms world less intimidating and more empowering. Rather than simply offering a firearm, SIG SAUER created a complete ecosystem that includes education, training, and a welcoming community where women can learn without judgment and build confidence at their own pace.

I immediately wanted to learn more, so I joined the official ROSE Facebook community. That decision marked the beginning of an incredible journey.

Attending the ROSE Retreat

Later that year, I attended the ROSE Retreat in Chicago, and it exceeded every expectation I had.

The event wasn't just about firearms, it was about connection. I met women from all walks of life who shared a common goal: becoming more confident, knowledgeable, and comfortable in the shooting sports. The atmosphere was encouraging, supportive, and genuinely welcoming.

It quickly became clear that the ROSE Program is about much more than learning to shoot. It's about building confidence, encouraging responsible firearm ownership, and creating lasting friendships.

Three Years Later...

Today, three years later, I'm still actively involved in the ROSE Community and proudly serve as one of its moderators.

Looking back, I'm amazed at how much this community has grown. I've watched countless women take their first steps into the firearms world, gain confidence through training, and discover abilities they never knew they had.

Perhaps the greatest gift the ROSE Program has given me is the friendships. Through this community, I've met incredible women from across the country who continue to encourage, support, and inspire one another. These aren't just online connections, they've become lifelong friends.

Why I Recommend the SIG SAUER ROSE Program
